Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome to partake.
Special services are held for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Fellowship
Union Congregational Church offers many opportunities for sharing with one another. Activities include weekly after-church coffee hours, special dinners and celebrations, Lenten devotional booklets authored by members, concerts, Dinner 8 (a small-group dinner gathering) and family outings such as camping, bowling and caroling.
Outreach
Services to the local, regional and world communities are provided by many groups and individuals in Union Congregational Church. Locally, the church contributes to the Green River Food Pantry and participates in the Travelers' Assistance Program. The Response Team assists with emergency situations and special needs. The church also offers a scholarship for the continuing education of a UCC member. The "Create-a-Christmas" program provides for special needs during the holidays.
